I use the word “their” because both father and son worked to write the first grant for the CAC foundation. And, Ayers Sr. has an interesting relationship with Obama too, as well as strong ties to Major Daley. This ad raises questions, but doesn’t nail down the degree of closeness in their relationship. Obama’s people will just look at this one and claim..hey that’s just a guy that lived in my neighborhood and we sat on a board together for awhile–”I barely knew him”. Which is precisely how he got away with the first confrontation. Not enough specifics were provided to rip away his mask.
